She's Strong....But She's Tired

When strength becomes survival and rest feels like rebellion
She’s the one people lean on.
The one who figures it out.
The one who prays, pushes, produces, and perseveres.
She’s strong.
But she’s tired.
Somewhere along the way, strength stopped being a gift and started feeling like an assignment. And the truth is, many women aren’t tired because they’re weak. They’re tired because they’ve been strong for too long without rest, support, or space to simply be.
We celebrate resilience, but rarely ask what it’s costing us.
God never intended strength to mean self-neglect. He never asked us to carry everything alone. Yet many women feel guilty resting, as if slowing down somehow diminishes their worth or productivity.
But rest is not quitting.
Rest is wisdom.
Scripture:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
Jesus didn’t say, “Come when you’re done proving yourself.” He said, come when you’re tired. Strong women need rest too, not because they’ve failed, but because they’re human. Rest recalibrates the soul. It restores clarity. It protects the oil on your life.
You don’t lose your crown when you sit down.
You protect it.
